An exciting fun dance fitness class to latin music, based on technique from the passionate foot stamping skirt swirling dance of southern Spain. Flamenco is body strengthening, working on legs, arms and lots of core work too. Increases coordination, toning and balance, as an impact sport there are additional benefits too. It’s also great fun!
No experience needed and we will not be learning routines- this is a fast paced fitness dance class! Be ready to sweat! Please wear a shoe/boot with a chunky sturdy heel and bring a bottle of water. Suitable for women & men alike and all levels of fitness- can adapt to own pace. Anyone already dancing flamenco will improve technique and stamina.
